10 Powerful Lessons from Michael Beckwith’s Life Visioning

1.
One of the first principles to honour in your relationship with yourself is to respect and trust your own inner voice.

2.
Gratitude is a prayer. When we enter a state of gratitude, the heart softens and the mind opens. Even ordinary things begin to feel sacred.

3.
It is a profound practice to offer forgiveness each night before you go to sleep. This way, you do not carry resentment into the freshness of the next new day. This also includes self-forgiveness.

4.
Affirmations help remove subconscious blockages that may hinder the fulfilment of our intentions. Affirmation statements activate the power within us. They draw into our magnetic field what we claim and affirm for ourselves.

5.
Take time each day to disconnect from the outer world. Connect with your inner self through meditation and other spiritual practices. This brings us to a place where we can give a surrendered “yes” to life. This “yes” softens the heart and allows peace and trust to prevail.

6.
There is no race to the finish line. We all evolve according to our own unique pattern of unfoldment.

7.
Visioning is not the same as visualization. Visualization uses the power of imagination. Visioning uses the power of intuition. Visualization is a doing process activated by imagination. Visioning is a knowing and being process that comes through inner, direct, intuitive realization.

8.
You have taken this incarnation to awaken the enlightened expression of who you are. While you are here on this planet, you are meant to offer your talents, gifts, and skills as your unique contribution to the world.

9.
Practice deep listening. Deep listening means being fully present with reverent awareness. This can be when listening to another person or listening to your inner Self.

10.
Happiness does not have to be created. It is our true nature.
